A monthly utilization value is obtained for an institution by calculating the 95th percentile value on the aggregation-side interface of the institution's NCREN network connection for the 7am to 5pm timeframe for all weekdays (Monday through Friday) that fall within that month, and then averaging those values. A per-student utilization value is then calculated for the institution by dividing that monthly utilization number by the institution's current-year m1(c) Average Daily Membership (ADM) number available from the NC DPI Financial and Business Services website. Peak day per-student utilization is based on the 95th percentile for the busiest single day.
